Otokar Showcases its  Supreme Land System Solutions  at the World Defense Show

The global land systems manufacturer, Otokar is set to make its debut at the World Defense Show (WDS) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, between February 4-8, 2024. During the 5-day event, Otokar will display its broad range of armored platforms and capabilities.
 
Otokar continues to showcase its globally recognized military vehicles and turret systems and participates in the World Defense Show (WDS) in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, between 4-8 February 2024.

During the five-day event, Otokar will exhibit 9 world-renowned platforms with their distinct features and capabilities at two separate booths—Hall 1 B4 indoor and Courtyard CY-7 outdoor:

  • TULPAR-S  Amphibious Tracked Armored Personnel Carrier with 7.62 mm Turret

TULPAR MEDIUM TANK:
Otokar is exhibiting TULPAR Medium Tank with Leonardo HITFACT Mk II 120mm turret at WDS.

TULPAR stands out with mobility, high firepower, and survivability features. TULPAR is designed as a multi-purpose tracked vehicle with variants ranging from 28,000kg to 45,000kg to fully satisfy the modern armies’ existing and future requirements.

TULPAR comes in several variants having common subsystems. Tested in the toughest climates and on rough terrain conditions, TULPAR boasts high ballistic and mine protection with modular armor.

In addition to its high fire and destruction power, with its high mobility TULPAR, can serve in all kinds of combat environments from urban, built-up areas and light bridges to woodlands and all terrains, especially soft surfaces where main battle tanks are unable to operate due to their heavy weights.

TULPAR-S AMPHIBIOUS TRACKED ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIER:
TULPAR-S is displayed in WDS with 7.62 mm Turret.

TULPAR-S is an amphibious Light Tracked Vehicle offering a common platform for mission specific variants such as Infantry Fighting Vehicle, APC, Armored Weapon Carrier, Maintenance and Recovery Vehicle, Command & Control, Ambulance, Reconnaissance Vehicle.

ARMA 8x8 WHEELED ARMORED VEHICLE:
At WDS, Otokar exhibits two different variants of ARMA 8x8, one equipped with its 30 mm MIZRAK Turret and other with John Cockerill 105 mm turret.

ARMA 8x8 is a combat-proven modular platform with amphibious capabilities for various missions. ARMA meets survivability, protection level, and mobility requirements of modern armies. In addition to its high combat weight and spacious interiors, ARMA 8x8 also draws attention with its low silhouette.

The armored monocoque body with high ballistic and mine protection allows the integration of variety of mission equipment and weapon systems in different specifications up to 120 mm. ARMA  is a platform suitable for  Command and Control, Engineering, Ambulance, Recovery, Support, and similar missions.

COBRA II MRAP:
The COBRA II Mine-resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle (COBRA II MRAP) is displayed with 25 mm RCWS at WDS. Cobra II MRAP is developed to ensure high survivability in risky areas. The vehicle provides superior protection for the crew against kinetic energy, mine and IED threats while maintaining high cross-country mobility in battlefield conditions with its independent suspension system. High reliability, ease of maintenance are the other two important design criteria.

With its modular design, COBRA II MRAP provides high payload and spacious internal space for integration of weapon systems and mission equipment. The vehicle can be configured with alternative seating layouts for up to 11 personnel with 3 or 5 door configurations as per specific user requirements.

COBRA II TACTICAL WHEELED ARMORED VEHICLE:
At WDS, Otokar showcases COBRA II with two different turrets, one 12.7 mm RCWS and the other  12.7 mm MIZRAK Closed Turret.  

Globally known COBRA II offers high level of protection, payload capacity, and large internal volume. In addition to its superior mobility, COBRA II offers high protection against ballistic, mine, and IED threats. With high power to weight ratio COBRA II delivering high performance. The vehicle is operated by many armies in different parts of the world, on toughest terrain and climate conditions. Being suitable for the integration of wide range of weapon and mission equipment options, COBRA II is successfully in service for border protection as well as internal security and peacekeeping missions in different users. The modular structure of COBRA II also makes the vehicle a flexible platform to be used as a personnel carrier, weapons platform, ground surveillance radar, CBRN reconnaissance vehicle, command control vehicle, and ambulance.

NEXT-GENERATION MODULAR ARMORED VEHICLE: AKREP II
Otokar is exhibiting AKREP II with a John Cockerill 90 mm turret at WDS.

AKREP II, built on Otokar’s initial AKREP developed in 1990s, is designed as an armored reconnaissance and surveillance vehicle and a large caliber weapon platform. Combining high firepower and survivability in a low silhouette, the AKREP II meets the current and future needs of modern armies by accommodating turrets up to 90mm cannon.

The four-wheel drive system and steerable rear axle of AKREP II greatly enhances the maneuverability capability of the vehicle. The vehicle has a superior mobility and handling capabilities in all terrain conditions no matter mud, snow or puddles. Its compact design, high level of both kinetic and mine protection, and the U-type power package placed at the rear of the vehicle make AKREP II a very special and competitive platform especially where the maneuverability is crowned with crab steering.

As a multi-role vehicle suitable for different types of missions, AKREP II provides effective firepower without compromising survivability as it can accommodate up to 90 mm caliber turrets.  AKREP II can also be configured for the missions like surveillance, reconnaissance, air defense, forward observer, etc.

Otokar displays URAL 4x4 Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle at WDS.

URAL is a unique product born from an innovative approach, designed to meet the needs of paramilitary users for 4x4 armored tactical vehicles in different configurations with a versatile and modular solution.
