Otokar Receives 83,6 Million USD Order for COBRA II

Otokar, largest land platforms exporter of Turkiye, has received an order amounted 83,6 million USD for its combat proven COBRA II 4x4 tactical armored wheeled vehicle. Under the export-registered sales contract, the vehicles are planned to be delivered within 2025.

Emphasizing that Otokar is a global player in the field of land systems, Sedef Vehbi, Otokar Military Cluster Head said, “Being a listed NATO and UN supplier, more than 33,000 Otokar military vehicles are actively serving in over 40 countries. These vehicles provide high performance and enhanced security in the most critical missions, ranging from combat operations to peacekeeping duties in the most challenging terrains. We reflect the experience acquired from diverse regions of the world into our continuous vehicle development efforts, tailored to the changing needs of our customers. COBRA II is one of the world's best armored vehicles in its class. It is successfully serving in many different missions in Turkiye and many different countries.”

COBRA II IS ACTIVELY USED IN 13 COUNTRIES

The COBRA II 4x4 tactical armored wheeled vehicle, produced by Otokar, is actively used by more than 20 users in 13 countries. The combat proven COBRA II is operated by armies in different parts of the world on toughest terrain and under various climate conditions.

With Otokar’s nearly 40 years of defense industry experience and capabilities, COBRA II is designed as a modular platform which can be developed for different mission requirements. Cobra II has been first launched in 2013 and since then 30 different variants have been developed in line with the diverse requirements and needs of its users.

In addition to its superior mobility, COBRA II provides protection against ballistic, mine, and IED threats. With high power-to-weight ratio COBRA II delivers high performance. COBRA II is suitable for the integration of wide range of weapon and mission equipment options.
